Welcome! We are Richard & Jackie and we're so glad you found our humble blog. Join us as we take our first tentative steps at documenting the next chapter of our lives. After a series of life changing traumas in 2021, we made the scary decision to pack in our careers and take time to explore what the world has to offer.

Our vision is to share our experiences and to inspire people to celebrate life and create marvellous memories. We want to simplify our lives into what is really important- health, happiness and relationships. We never had the opportunity in our youth to travel- going straight from school, to uni and into work. Our two amazing kids are grown up and making their own way in life, now is the time to embrace our wanderlust.

Our goal through this blog is to share with you the yet unknown highs and lows of the journey ahead. It's fair to say at 50, we are as far away from the young instagram influences that you can possibly get. We simply hope to motivate you in some small way to think about life and get motivated for your next, life-changing journey.
